With the holiday season quickly approaching us, I had the opportunity to interview some Senior High students to share their favorite things about the holidays and what they look forward to the most!

Sam Lyden, Sophomore, shares that his favorite thing about the holidays is the snow. “It’s one of my favorite things to see when in the winter,” Lyden says that he loves to throw snowballs at people he doesn’t like.

Nina Reider, Junior, claims that she loves the Christmas cheer being spread around the holidays. “My favorite thing about the holidays is all the jolliness and joy from everyone,” Nina says.

Calina Nerti, Sophomore, says her favorite thing is skiing. “With the upcoming winter season, I’m super excited for this year’s ski club!” Calina is a member of the ski club and can’t wait for the next ski trips.

Anna Blundo, Junior, states that being around family is the best part of the holidays. “Being with family around this time of year is very special to me and makes me so happy”.

Tyler Girman, Sophomore, Also says his favorite thing is to visit his family from out of town for the holidays. “I get to see some family members I don’t usually see often during this time of year,” Tyler says. “It’s nice to reunite with everyone”.

Madison Soukovich, Sophmore, says she enjoys all the delicious food served during the holidays. “My grandma makes the best holiday food

Abby Ambrosini, Sophomore, claims she loves the shiny bright lights and decorations. “I enjoy helping decorate around the house with bright colorful lights”, Abby says, “It’s amazing to see everything all put together’.

Dante Micaletti, Sophomore, enjoys getting time off of school. “The long breaks off of school are definitely my favorite,” Dante says, “I love to be around friends and relax during the break
