On Wednesday, October 30, 6 New Castle students attended the first of four Lawrence County Forensics meets. Although it was a small group, they were victorious. The placings were as follows (Note:there are multiple groups for each category) :

Senior High

Jonalyn Wharry: Third place for Speech by Another

Madyson Newingham: First place for Duo Impromptu and Extemporaneous

Mary Baka: First place for Speech by Another and Poetry

Montana Pastore: First place for Duo Impromptu and Speech by Another

Hailey Gonzales: Third place for Duo Impromptu and Extemporaneous

Junior High

Madelyn Hanna: First Place for Duo Impromptu and Third Place for Extemporaneous
