Recently, I interviewed Mr. David Beavon  the golf coach at New Castle to get his thoughts on this years team. In addition, we discussed the future of the team.

Q: What are your thoughts on this years golf team?

A: Not judging by wins and losses, i think we have had a successful season. We have had four new team members this year that are just beginning to scratch their potential.

 Q: Are you happy with the outcome this year?

A: I am happy that the team enjoyed the season and we shared some fun experiences together. I am happy with the growth we showed as a team.

Q: How long have you been a coach of the golf team?

A: This was my fifth year coaching the golf team. I  have enjoyed each and every season.

Q: What are some things that you are looking forward to next year?

A: I am looking forward to watch the progress and learning curve of all my team members individually. This year was the first year since i have been the coach, that we had a golfer qualify for the WPIAL . Lindsay Frabotta represented the New Castle golf team in the finals. I am looking forward to watching what can be accomplished next year by both the team and individuals.
