I recently had the opportunity of interviewing one of my good friends and classmates, Rocco Bernadina. Rocco is a student-athlete in the 11th grade. Rocco plays Baseball, Golf, Bowling, and Bocci.
Question: What is your biggest goal for the off-season?
Answer: Spot my changeup, 405 box squat and get better at hitting.
Question: Do you work with a dietary plan?
Answer: Yes I do!
Question: What do you follow for your dietary plan?
Answer: Bodyweight in G of protein daily, 55% of body weight in water, and less than 4000 calories daily
Question: Do you have a certain workout routine?
Answer: Monday through Friday weight training, Saturday and Wednesday yoga, and Sunday rest.
Question: Is this the most intense you have trained on the offseason?
Answer: Yes by far!
Question: What hopes do you have for the team this upcoming season?
Answer: I know that if our team stays on the track that we will be WPIAL and state champions. We the most conditioned, hardworking, and overall talented team in the WPIAL.
Question: How do you prepare mentally for this upcoming season?
Answer: I look to improve my composure on offense and defense, make a statement with my body language and demeanor, and be the best teammate I can be.
