John Steinbeck’s novel “Of Mice and Men” is one of the many books we read in our tenth grade year. If you haven’t read this interesting novel, it’s definitely recommended. This novel starts out as not the most interesting topic and difficult to read old-English. If you like older styled books, this one is the one for you. The story is of two men travel from place to place to work on farms. John Steinbeck wrote many other amazing stories such as The Grapes of Wrath, The Pearl, East of Eden, and many more. Steinbeck passed away at the young age of sixty-four, but we have many of his books to remember him by. Steinbeck’s novel “Of Mice and Men”, is one of my most favorite of his books. It was definitely worth the read.

Without a doubt, Steinbeck is a great author for all high school students. He writes serious stories with a bit of youth intertwined.  Steinbeck is a much respected man in the writing industry.
