A New Trend: How Mrs.Vournous is Working Hard to Brighten the Day!!

Mrs.Vournous after the 9th-period bell rang!!

Mrs.Vournous is one of our Spanish teachers at New Castle High School.  Every Friday, she does a weekly tradition called “Baila Viernes”, translated to “The Friday Dance”.  During the tradition, she comes out into the hall, with her maracas and dances to different Latin music.  According to Mrs.Vournous, she understands that after a long week of school, students need to decompress.  So, she attempts to brighten the day, by dancing outside.  Students have the ability to come and learn the dances, while adding some positive vibes throughout the halls.
