The 45th annual People’s Choice Award took place on November 10, 2019, at the Barker Hangar, a performing arts theater, in Santa Monica, California. For the second year in a row, there was not a host. Opening the night’s ceremony, Robert Downey Jr. honored Kevin Hart for winning The Comedy Act of 2019! After being in an awful car accident in September that almost took Hart’s life, this is his first public appearance since then. He was very honored and gave a beautiful speech to everyone in the audience.

Jennifer Aniston, Pink, and Gwen Stefani each took home three of the most prestigious awards in the show. Jennifer Aniston won People’s Icon at the award show for her culmination of all the great roles she played throughout her career. Pink was honored with the People’s Champion Award for her charitable contributions to organizations like Autism Speaks, Planned Parenthood and Human Rights Campaign, but that’s only a few. Gwen Stefani owned the stage when winning her Fashion Icon Award, while dressed in a beautiful strapless gown. As an amazing artist, fashion was always her favorite way to express herself.

                                                                                                                                                                                                   Ellen DeGeneres happily took home the Daytime Talk Show and Social Celebrity awards. This year marks another People’s Choice Awards show that Ellen received awards at. She has the most awards from E ranking 20!
