Meet Rocco Bernadina the star pitcher at New Castle Senior High School. He has committed to State to follow his dreams of playing baseball in college.

How did you know Kent was the best choice?
Rocco: After I looked at 12 different schools I realized Kent was the school for me.

In your opinion who affected your decision the most?
Rocco: My coach Fred Albert and player Calvin Bickernsteff.

Do you know what your major will be?
Rocco: My major as of now will be business and finance.

What is your goal for Kent’s baseball program?
Rocco: At Kent, I hope to start every year and by my 3rd year get drafted to the majors.

Which one of your coaches had the most influence on your baseball career?
Rocco: My pitching coach Mike Birkbeck
