Meet New Castle Freshman Adam Sipe

I recently had the opportunity to interview Adam Sipe. Adam is a freshman at New Castle, and this is his first year in the New Castle Area School District. “Sipe” recently relocated with his family from the Laurel Area School District.  Sipe’s infectious personality has made him one of this year’s most memorable freshman. I hope you enjoy the interview – Josh.

Q: If you had to describe yourself in three words, how would you do it?

Sipe: Smart, kind, respectful.

Q: How does it feel to be an older brother?

Sipe: I love my brothers. I try and inspire them to be the best they can be.

Q: How often do you and your brothers argue?

Sipe: I don’t fight with my brothers, I break it up.

Q: What are the major differences between New Castle and Laurel?

Sipe: There are more people at New Castle for sure.  The schedule here provides a lot more flexibility, and the sports programs are more advanced with a bigger school.

Q: What teacher has made the biggest from Laurel?

Sipe: Mr.Levish.  God rest his soul he was a great man.  He inspires me to be the best me I can absolutely be.

Sipe: Abe! His Dojo  skills really helps me learn the life skills that I need.  I have a lot of fun with him.

Q: Favorite school subject?

Sipe: Math.

Q: What do you miss about Laurel?

Sipe: I miss all of my childhood friends that I made from the school.

Q: What is your favorite part about working at the Ladies of the Dukes?

Sipe: All of my friends work there and to me, it is easier to work with people I like being around.

Q: How do you relax after a long day of work?

Sipe: I usually eat dinner, shower, and play Xbox.

Q: What kind of impact has Coach Kelly made on you?

Sipe: He has really helped me behave in school, and helped me keep my head on straight.

Q: Favorite pre-game snack?

Sipe: Kit-Kat, or Twix Bar

Q: What is your dream school for college?

A: Ohio State University.

Q: What are some activities you like to do in your free time?

A: I definitely like to play basketball with my friends when we aren’t on the court.

Q: In 15 years, where do you see yourself?

Sipe: I can see myself being rich, and having a good job.

Q: Favorite Restaraunt?

Sipe: Edwards.
