Due to COVID-19, many spring sports have been canceled including track and baseball.  As a track runner myself, I am extremely upset that I got to miss my favorite sport this year. Many student-athletes are upset about the cancellation. Sports are a big part of a lot of student’s lives. Anthony Litrenta , a very talented runner at New Castle High School says he was disappointed and devastated about track being canceled. Running is a big part of Anthony’s life and definitely affected by this. Many other students take sports serious and it is a big part of their life. However, Anthony is looking forward to continuing both his academic and running career at Duquesne in the fall of 2020.
