The New Castle baseball team wrapped up its 2022 season yesterday, May 10.  The Canes lost a tough one to Blackhawk, 15-0, ending their chances at making the playoffs.  The Canes finished the season with an overall record of 3-10.  New Castle finished section play with a final record of 3-9, which would put them last in section 2-4A.  This is certainly not the season the Canes wanted, after winning the WPIAL and PIAA titles in 2021.

Although this is not the season the Running Red Hurricanes wished for, the community is still super proud of them.  Next year the Canes move up to section 2-5A due to classification realignments. We are always proud of the Red Hurricanes! Thanks for all your support during this season!
