NCAA Football Week 7

A lot of people were anticipating Week 7 because of the showdown between (6) Alabama and (3) Tennessee. The game was tied 49-49, Alabama was going to kick a field goal but they miss the field goal and Tennessee will have possession Hendon Hooker threw two passes to get to Alabama’s 23-yard line. Tennessee would attempt a 40-yard field goal and the kick is good and Tennessee will win it 49-52. Alabama’s quarterback Bryce Young threw for 455 yards and two touchdown passes and threw an interception to DeMarcco Hellams. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns. Tennessee’s quarterback Hendon Hooker threw for 385 yards and five touchdowns. He rushed for 56 yards. Running back Jaylen Wright rushed for 71 yards.
Another close game was (12) USC vs (15) Utah. USC was leading with 50 seconds left and Cameron Rising rushed for a touchdown and two-point conversion. USC could not go down the field and Utah wins 42-43. USC’s quarterback Caleb Williams threw for 381 yards and five touchdowns. He rushed for 57 yards. Running back Travis Dye rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown. Utah’s quarterback Cameron Rising threw for 415 yards and two touchdowns. He was the team’s leading rusher today with 60 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Micah Bernard rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown.
The (22) North Carolina Tar Heels played the Duke Blue Devils. The Tar Heels made a comeback and late in the 4th quarter were winning 38-35. In the final 6 seconds, Duke had possession and was down by three. Riley Leonard takes the snap and throws the football and intercepted by Will Hardy and the Tar Heels will win 38-35. Tar Heel’s quarterback Drake Maye threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns. He was the team’s leading rusher with 70 yards. Elijah Green and Caleb Hood rushed for a combined 72 yards and Green rushed for two touchdowns. Duke’s quarterback Riley Leonard threw for 245 yards and one touchdown and an interception by Will Hardy. He was the team’s leading rusher with 130 yards and one touchdown. Running back Jordan Waters rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns.
