Tevin McCaster is a star running back at Youngstown State University. Tevin is finishing a tremendous year  of football.  McCaster has already has rushed for 656 yards  and averages 82 yards a game and has only played eight games this year. He has nine touchdowns also to go along with the season. Tevin is part of the New Castle High School alumni Class of 2014  and just recently won the  2017-18 Recipient of the Dwight “Dike” Beede Scholarship.  At Youngstown State University, his major is General Studies.

Tevin was redshirted and next year will be his last year of college football at Youngstown State University. Tevin was recently  named to the all-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team. Tevin is the sixth Youngstown State University to earn first-team all-MVFC honors.  In 2017, he rushed for 1,066 yards on 221 carries and 13 touchdowns. Tevin also had in conference play 803 yards on 171 attempts and scored 10 times.
