Call of Duty: World War 2 Review

November 3rd, 2017 Activision, publishing company, published their annual Call of Duty game. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Call of Duty: World War 2 takes fans to the roots of Call of Duty. With an authentic campaign based on the gruesome war, multiplayer based on real life battle locations, and a terrifying zombies experience there is a lot to review about this game.

To start, the WW2 campaign starts in 1944 in the European theater where the main character, Red Daniels, fights his first battle in one of the most famous attacks, D-Day. From there, you go on to take the rest of Germany with your platoon. The campaign focuses on one topic, brotherhood.Without your platoon, you are nothing. Call of Duty really focuses on how to rely on your brothers to get through the war. If you like the movie Saving Private Ryan and the TV series, Band of Brothers, this Call of Duty: World War 2 campaign experience is for you.

Going on, the Call of Duty:World War 2 multiplayer experience has a lot to offer. Is there anything “new” you might ask? Yes, there is, the new divisions system defines the way you choose to head into battle. With Infantry, Airborne, Armoured, Mountain, and Expeditionary there is no right or wrong way to go into war. Each class has unique abilities. With the bayonet charge from the Infantry, to the incendiary shells for the Expeditionary division, possibilites are endless. There are 10 standard maps in the full game, DLC content, to come later, along with 3 war mode missions. All maps listed Aachen, Ardennes Forest, Flak Tower, Gibraltar ,Gustav Cannon, London Docks ,Pointe Du Hoc, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont ,USS Texas, and Carentan. The 3 war mode missions listed, Operation Breakout, Operation Griffin, and Operation Neptune.
