The first game of the World Series between the Dodgers and The Astros began Tuesday October 24. The Dodgers took the first game three one. The Dodgers pitcher Kershaw kept the Astros at bay the whole game untie the 9th inning then Kenley Jensen came in as the Dodgers reliever and shut down possibly the hottest bat in the league Jose Altuve Getting a Dodgers Win. By game six the series was tied 3-3 after another Dodger 3 to 1 win. In the Seventh and final game, The Houston Astros scored 5 runs in the first two innings of the game off of Yu Darvish and never let there lead go. It was not the 10th inning thriller we had with the cubs in 2016, but the fans of Houston were ecstatic at there teams first franchise World Series win. The win was a much needed moral boost for the still recovering city of Houston after hurricane Harvey. Jose Altuve said after the game ” I always believed we could make it” “We did it for them”and, even if your not an Astros fan I’m sure that you are still happy for the city of Houston.
