The New Castle High School team for Hometown High Q won the next round of the show, scoring 470 points against their opponents.  Our team competed against students from Bethel Park and Bentworth. The team consists of  Senior Eric Groves, Senior Jonah Warner, and Sophomore Austin Browne. The show will be airing on April 21, at 11:00 on KDKA Channel 2.  The Eye of the Hurricane will keep you posted as they advance to the next round of the show.

UPDATE

On April 21st, 2018, New Castle’s Hometown High Q Team battled students from Winchester Thurston. Unfortunately, our scholars were eliminated by Winchester Thurston in this hard fought round.  Winchester Thurston School is an independent, coeducational preparatory school located on two campuses: one in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the other in the Allison Park neighborhood of Hampton Township.  Congratulations to Seniors Eric Groves and Jonah Warner-Austin Browne will be heading our next team in the 2018-2019 school year!!
