Sports Legends Lost: Bruno Sammartino Senior Edition

Undoubtedly one of the most popular wrestlers in professional wrestling history, passed away on April 18, 2018.  Bruno Sammartino revolutionized the pro wrestling world. With a 2,803 day title reign in the WWWF,  and World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWE), Bruno was the face of the industry during the 1960’s-1980’s. Sammartino resided in Pittsburgh and was originally from Italy, Bruno was a prefect example of “The American Dream” He sold out hundreds upon hundres of arenas including world famous Madison Square Garden, as well as, local  Flaherty Field in New Castle.
