Jessie J

There are so many underrated singers out there, Jessie J is definitely one of them. Jessica Ellen Cornish also known as Jessie J, is an English soul and pop singer and songwriter. Grew up in London and started her career with a role in the West End musical, “Whistle Down the Wind,” at age 11. Many people may know her when she collaborated with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj in 2014. Their song, “Bang bang,” was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 57th Grammy Award followed by many other nominations. Jessie J is a powerful singer. She could honestly blow the roof off of this school. This year Jessie J came out with a new album called, “R.O.S.E.” For the people who enjoy soulful music, I highly recommend listening to her new album and all of her music in general. Very inspiring! My favorite songs from her is “Masterpiece,” from her “Sweet Talker,” album (2014) and her new single “Not My Ex,” (2018). She also covers many artists like Whitney Housten to Aretha Franklin. She was a coach on “The Voice UK,” aside with Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and Danny O’Donoghue. It was so amazing how Jessie trained her team to be better singers, but better people. Jessie J is truly a good person, many people look up to her. I know I do!
