Friday night lights weren’t all that the Red Hurricane Marching Band experienced in the fourth week of the high school football season. The band took over Stambaugh Stadium on Saturday, September 16 for the Youngstown State game. The game had the Youngstown State University Penguins against the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils. The band performed a pregame show alongside the Penguins Marching Pride outside of the stadium and watched until halftime. Then they performed a modified version of their halftime show to fit the allotted time limit. The band stayed to watch the Penguins’ amazing victory with a final score of 59-9.

The New Castle Red Hurricane Marching Band extends a huge thank you to Youngstown State University and the Marching Pride of YSU for the opportunity to experience and perform at a college football game.
