Recently,  I had the opportunity to interview Donny Cade. Donny is an 11th grader at New Castle Senior High School.  Donny participates in football. I met up with Donny after practice and he shared his thoughts about football.-Anthony Cumo

QUESTION: Why do you like football?

I’ve always had a love for the game.

QUESTION: What position do you play?

Both Wide Reciever and Saftey in the hopes of playing to my potential and helping my team.

QUESTION: Are you in the starting lineup?

I am a starter on offense and defense.

QUESTION: How long have you been playing football?

Since the 3rd grade.

QUESTION: How do you feel about your teammates?

They’re great players with great potential.

QUESTION: How well have you been playing this year?

I think I have played pretty well throughout the season.

QUESTION: How well do you think the team will do this year?

I think we have a really good chance of going far this year.

QUESTION: What advice would you give to younger players watching you?

Never let anyone outwork you and take every chance you get to perform well.

QUESTION: What made you decide to become a football player?

I’ve loved football ever since I was a little kid watching the Steelers.

QUESTION: How do you prepare yourself for games?

I watch game film on the other team and focus on nothing besides my job on the field
