Viva Las Vegas with Rocco Bernadina
I recently traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for a big 70th birthday! My Great Uncle turned 70 and we had a big bash at his daughter’s amazing home in Summerlin, Nevada. Many of my Uncle’s old co-workers gathered in celebration and enjoyed the time with him. There were many people that came from New Castle for the weekend or were at least New Castle natives that reside in Vegas. The party was catered, had many options, a bartender, an ice sculpture, and an outdoor heated seating arrangement for the eating place. Everyone gathered and enjoyed a great meal while being accompanied by a wonderful piano player and singer. Post-meal, everyone shared stories and watched a slideshow of all old memories with all of the guests included. For the rest of the night, everyone sang and danced and enjoyed the party!
On the next day, we walked around the strip and saw all of the beautiful sights around the city. We visited highly known places like Paris, the Bellagio, and Caesars Palace. After viewing all of the wonderful sights we resided to the hotel and packed for our flight in the morning. I really enjoyed Las Vegas “the City that Never Sleeps”. It was truly amazing to see all of the ethnically diverse people come together as one and have fun every night! Whenever you have the opportunity to travel seize the day!!
