Madison Conley Senior Track Interview

I recently had the opportunity to interview senior varsity track athlete, Madison Conley.-Chelsea
Question: Why did you start track?
Madison: It seemed like a fun extracurricular activity that I would be interested in and would be able to become good at it.
Question: What are track practices like?
Madison: We practice in March, and we do warm-up laps, and then we go with our event and practice our own things.
Question: What are the requirements to do track?
Madison: You need to have a good work ethic and co to practice and work hard.
Question: What is your favorite part of track?
Madison: The track meets are the best part.
Question: What is your favorite event?
Madison: Pole Vaulting.
Question: What do you do before a track meet?
Madison: I make sure I eat and stay hydrated.
Question: How do you feel about the 2020 track season being canceled?
Madison: I am very upset that I did not get to compete in my senior track season, but I am thankful to have gotten to express my love for the sport throughout my previous years.
Question: What is the best part of track?
Madison: Personally, the best part of track is beating your records and doing well at meets and improving overall.
Question: How long have you been cheering for?
Madison: I started track in 10th and have only done it for two years, but I did compete at a few indoor track meets this season.
Question: Are you doing anything to stay in shape?
Madison: Yes, I am running and working out on my own time.
Question: What were you expecting for the season?
Madison: Lots of achievements, improvements, and life long memories.
