Although the New Castle Theatre Department did have a musical last year, there was a limited audience in attendance due to Covid. New Castle High School Theatre Department is ready to get back to reality, with the announcement of this year’s musical: Grease. All casting and directing are done by Mr. Robert Lee, who has been directing here at New Castle Sr. High for the last 8 years and has been in the district for the last 20 years. 

Plot Summary: Grease 

In brief, the musical is about American high school students, in the 1950s, with a Rock-n-Roll style. Specifically, the plot is about a romance between the hot-rod Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town Sandy Dumbrowski. After an eight-year Broadway run, Grease is among one of the world’s most popular musicals and has a huge following, especially among teens!
