Kanye West is a prominently known American rapper and is facing backlash from his antisemitic and anti-black comments losing sports, film, music, and mortgage contracts. Many companies are cutting ties with Kanye such as Adidas, JPMorgan Chase & Co. bank, Balenciaga, vogue, The Creative Artists Agency, and more.                                                                                                   

 On October, 27th Kanye announced that he lost 2$ billion dollars after his antisemitism and his comments about  Floyd’s death. The Floyd family is suing Kanye for defamation, harassment, misappropriation, and infliction of emotional distress. After Kanye found out about Roxie Washington’s plan to sue him, he goes on a rant saying “I gave 2 million dollars out of my pocket for the family. To help George’s daughter…Your daughter! … Many gave words. I ACTED. Now because of words you want to sue me for 250 million dollars … when I’m going through an Economic lynching. A Digital Lynching. A Social Credit Score bankrupting.”

Claiming on an episode of the “Drink Champs” podcast Kanye said that George Floyd’s death was caused by “fentanyl, not police brutality” despite the autopsy reports. Despite all of this Kanye still needs help. He suffers from Bipolar disorder, a mental illness where the affected has extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and extreme lows (depression).
