Tik Tok has a new trend and that would really surprise you.
Sephora stores are experiencing a crowd of young kids sparking a controversial conversation among older teens and adults. Tiktok influencers are calling out tweens who are spending a lot of money at makeup stores (Sephora and Ulta) and also allegedly wreaking the stores.
People on Tik Tok, including Sephora employees are making “storytimes” on Tik Tok about their experiences with the tweens.
One Sephora employee describes a 10-year old arguing with her mom over a $900 purchase, another Tik Tokker told a story about how a 10-year old started yelling at her over grabbing the last Drunk Elephant bronzing drops in the store. People on Tik Tok also posted examples of the kids destroying the sample stations.
This is getting out of control. People think that Sephora should start checking IDs to be sure the people who enter Sephora and buy the products are at least 14 years old.
What do you think about this? How would you feel if kids were taking and destroying products that you seriously needed? I personally would be upset, but that’s my opinion. Thank you for reading Canes!
