March Madness is always unpredictable and nobody has ever had a perfect bracket. I will be ranking the top 5 teams heading into March Madness for 2024. There are 64 total teams but only one can be champion.
- Arizona
They finished their season with a 25-8 record and they were 15-5 in their conference. They were one of the last remaining undefeated teams until their first loss. They haven’t been as strong lately but they are still a top 5 team on this bracket. I believe they will make it to the final four.
- North Carolina
They finished 27-7 and were 17-3 in their conference. They lost to NC State in the ACC tournament but they are still a team that can win the championship. They have a powerful lineup and I believe they will make it all the way to the Sweet 16.
- Houston
They finished with a 30-4 record and were 15-3 in their conference. They lost to Iowa State in the Big 12 tournament by over 20 points but they are still one of the best teams in this bracket. I believe they will at least make it to the Sweet 16.
- Purdue
They finished their season with a 29-4 record and were 17-3 in their conference. They lost in a huge upset in the Big Ten tournament by only one point. Zach Edey is one of the best players in college basketball and he should help them get to the championship.
- UConn
They finished 31-3 and finished 18-2 in their conference. They won the Big East championship and they are defending March Madness champions. They are the best team in college basketball and I believe they will reach the final four.
All 5 of these teams are the favored teams to win it all, but only one of them can be the champion or maybe a different team will win. The Championship game will be on April 8. My pick to win the championship is Purdue. They have one of the best players in D1 college basketball and they were eliminated early last year, but I believe they will win the championship this year.
