New Castle will be operating on an early release day to ensure the safety of NCASD, April 8th, 2024, due to the Solar Eclipse. Make sure to keep your eyes protected with specialized eye protection! It will not be safe to look directly at the sun while this is major event in history is occurring.
Dismissal Times:
Junior/Senior High School: 11:55 a.m.
George Washington Intermediate: Walkers 12:20 p.m., Bus 12:25 p.m.
Lockley Early Learning Center: Walkers 12:40 p.m., Bus 12:50 p.m.
Although Texas is in full 100% totality, we will still be able to see over 95% of totality. Be sure to gaze in and watch the once in a lifetime experience at exactly 3:15 pm!
