The New Castle Mock Trial Team competed in a competition earlier this year in Butler where they finished 3rd place and now they are ready to compete one more time before the school year ends. The team will compete in the Empire Mock Trial Competition in mid-May. The Competition will be very similar to the Butler Mock Trial, but the Empire Mock Trial will be online instead of in a court room. The team will remain the same with only a few minor changes. The case the team will be fighting has also changed. This case is called EMORY SHAPIRO V. SAPPHIRE SUBMARINE EXPEDITIONS, INC and is a mock case based on the ocean gate submersible implosion

7 PM ET – Round 3*
Friday May 17:
7:30 PM ET – Opening Ceremony
Saturday May 18:
11 AM ET – Round 1
4 PM ET – Round 2
Sunday May 19:
4 PM ET – Round 4
8 PM ET – Closing Ceremony
* Round 3 time and date was changed because of a scheduling conflict with PJAS
