The 2018 Bocce Team include Robert Austin, Perry Stoner (Captain), Eddie Lutton, Mark Torsello (Captain), K-C Booker, Keli Green , Sairyai Revis, Ashton Camerot, and  My”Sonne Cuffie.   The team is coached byMrs.  Hites, John George, Leanne Cangey and Mr. Birtalan.  The team is sponsored by the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania and Unifield Sports.   In addition, Slippery Rock University assists the students by sending their graduate students to help with team practices.

The Hurricanes are one of three teams based in Lawrence County.  The other teams in the county are Wilmington and Ellwood City.  Each team  competes with one home and away match with the goal of heading to a tournament at Slippery Rock University.  The tournament winner advances to state competition.
