Football Interview With Donny Cade 2018

Recently, I had the opportunity to interview Donny Cade. Donny Cade is a 10th grader at New Castle Senior High School. Donny participates in football, basketball, and football. I met up with Donny after practice and he shared his thoughts about football.
QUESTION: Why do you like football?
Donny Cade: I like football because it is a really fun sport and I love how fast and up paced the game is.
QUESTION: What position do you play?
Donny Cade: When I first joined the football team when I was a 9th grade I focused on becoming a wide receiver because its my favorite position.
QUESTION: Are you in the starting lineup?
Donny Cade: I am not a starter, but I am getting a lot of playing time and getting better at my position.
QUESTION: How long have you been playing football?
Donny Cade: I have been playing football since I was in 3rd grade for NC Red peewees and I have been playing ever since.
QUESTION: How do you feel about your teammates?
Donny Cade: I feel my teammates are very prepared for this upcoming season and I’m very confident that we will do well.
QUESTION: How well have you been playing this year?
Donny Cade: I have only played a few games so far, but I feel really confident in this season because I’m getting better at wide receiver and I also play special teams.
QUESTION:How well do you think the team will do this year?
Donny Cade: I feel like we have a good chance to go far because our team is looking good this year. I would like to go to the championship.
QUESTION: Do you look to any of your teammates for advice?
Donny Cade: Yes, I ask the older wide receivers with more experience if I ever need help. The older players have a lot of good advice because they know what they’re doing.
QUESTION: What made you decide to become a football player?
Donny Cade: I have been watching the Steelers play ever since I was a little kid and I have a dream of becoming one of them.
QUESTION: How do you prepare yourself for games?
Donny Cade: When I’m preparing for a football game I try to stay focused and I listen to music. I really try to stay focused on what I’m trying to do while playing the game.

This is a great interview. I have watched Cade play since his pee wee days. He works hard and he is his own competitor. He exceeds in All the sports he plays and I look foward to seeing him in a professional league.
