No drama when it comes down to the free agency of All-Star, Mike Trout. On Tuesday morning March 19th, 2019 the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim signed Mike Trout to a twelve year, 430 million dollar deal. This comes two years before his free agency in 2020. Mike Trout will now play for the Los Angeles Angels for most likey the rest of his career, and he would not have it any other way. With eight years of big league experience under his belt, Trout goes into the 2019 season being only 27 years old. Trout has played roughly 1,300 games in his big league career. What makes his contract special is that he is such a great player and he is so young. With 2 MVP’s, 6 Silver Slugger awards, 2011 AL Rookie of the Year, and 7 All-Star appearances under his belt, Mike Trout will not disappoint for the next 12 years. All in all, Mike Trout will most likely be an Angel for life.
