Interview with Captain Aiden Klik: New Castle Bowling Team

I had the pleasure of interviewing a member of the Red Hurricane Bowling team, Aiden Klik.  A fellow junior and bowling lover, Aiden has been bowling for three years now. This opportunity gave me new insight into my fellow classmates’ passion and love of the game. Read on to find out some interesting facts that Aiden shared with me.

 

Question: Why do you bowl?

Aiden: ”I feel it is a fun winter activity and it takes up my spear time”

Question: How did your season go this year?

Aiden: ”We had many improvements, but we were cut short of playoffs”

Question:  How many years have you been on varsity?

Aiden: ”I have been on varsity for 2 years”

Question: As captain, how do you talk to your teammates when things start to get rough?

Aidem: ”I always tell them to stay positive and never let them get down”

Question: Who is your coach? 

Aiden: “Coach Jeff Pitzer”

Question: How do you prepare in the offseason?

Aiden: ”Work on my form and make rotator cuff and wrist stronger”

Question:  What are your goals for next season? ”

Aiden: “Get my average up to 170 and make WPIAL’s singles tournament”

Question: How does bowling affect you?

Aiden: ”It makes me a better person and it shows me that you can never take a play or ”throw” off because it can affect you in the long run”
