Brady Cwynar, Editor

Sam Cwynar is a member of the Eye of the Hurricane, and as well a member of New Castle High School Senior Class of 2020. In this interview, I asked questions based on his high school experiences, the Eye of the Hurricane, and how the unforeseen ending of his senior year affected him.

Q1: What is one lesson you can take away from your high school experience?

A: Enjoy it while it last, though it may seem that high school is a burden, tomorrow it could be gone.

Q2: With over four years of experience with Mr. Abe and the Eye of the Hurricane what’s one life lesson you’ve learned from Mr. Abe?

A: Always be yourself no matter what.

Q3: What is your most memorable part of high school?

A: Making friends, and evolving as a person.

Q4: What was your favorite part of being an Eye of the Hurricane member?

A: Having Headlines and Deadlines, Brother!

Q5: What college do you plan on attending, what is your major and what inspired you to major in that field?

A: I will be attending Clarion University, and I majored in Business because I want to work within a Major League Sports Organization.

Q6: How has the current pandemic affect your conclusion of high school?

A: It cut my time short as a high school student, and I won’t be able to have the same Senior experiences as alumni of the school had.

Q7: What is one song that could sum up your time as a high school student?

A: “Youn Dumb & Broke” by Khalid.
