RachDue to the Corona-virus outbreak, our 2019-2020 school year has been cut short, which is heartbreaking for our seniors, who are hoping to walk across the stage in their cap and gowns. I reached out to my best friend Rachel Lyden, who is a 2020 senior, to talk about her favorite parts of her last year at Ne Ca Hi!

Question 1: Rach, what was your favorite memory being a New Castle Candy Cane?

“Making new friends and new memories, and meeting some of my best friends. Also having the ability to be me and enjoy football season!”

Question 2: Rach, what was your favorite memory being a part of the musical?

“Establishing a family with the cast and crew, and all the preparation that lead up to three magical show nights the feeling was unbeatable. ”

Question 3: If we were able to be in school and you could go to just one more class, what would it be?

“Too hard to choose, I miss all of my teachers and the special memories I shared in each class.”

Question 4: What college are you planning to attend? Are you excited?

“Kent State. Yea hopefully I can start on time given the situation.”
