There are many ways to get into the Christmas spirit! From baking your favorite seasonal cookies, listening to and singing carols, and of course exploring a Christmas movie marathon. It may be easy, but difficult to choose the best holiday movie for you and your loved ones to watch together. Here are my top 5 favorite movies!

Starting at #5-  The Polar Express, when a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who always believe. (2004)

Next at #4- A Christmas Story, a young boy named Ralphie attempts to convince his parents, his teacher, and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun really is the perfect Christmas gift. (1983)

Next at #3- How The Grinch Stole Christmas, the reclusive green Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Who’s. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters an endearing Cindy Lou Who. (2000)

Next in line at #2- Elf, Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood amongst Elves. Unable to shake the fact that he does not fit in, the adult Buddy travels to NY, in full Elf uniform trying to search for his real father. (2003)

Finally, at #1, my all-time favorite Christmas movie is Christmas with the Kranks, finally alone for the holidays, the Kranks plan to eschew the Christmas traditions and take a cruise to the Caribbean instead. This doesn’t sit well with their Christmas-obsessed neighbors Vic Frohmeyer and Walt Scheel, who are determined to win the annual “best decorated street” competition, and the Kranks soon find themselves social outcasts because of their lack of Christmas spirit. (2004)

I hope you get a chance to watch some of my favorite Christmas movies! Have an amazing Holiday Canes!
