A fun memory almost every high schooler can say they have is from being part of some sort of extra-curricular activity. Whether it be a sport, dance, cheer, school activity, or even just a club, students have a lot of fun and create many memories. What’s better than having fun with your friends and classmates?

New Castle Area School District is lacking in the club department. We haven’t really had clubs ever except a few. In my personal opinion, I feel like it would be a great addition to our school. Many students partake in some of these activities at home. I feel it would be nice to have something fun for students who are interested in learning more about their craft, subjects, or their hobbies.

Let’s use baking as an example. Many students enjoy baking. It would be awesome to have a baking club, where students can learn to bake and hang out with their friends while doing it.  They could even have a bake sale to show their skills. This way we can raise money for charities, a children’s hospital, the student body, or whatever the cause may be. A big plus would be the yummy treats you can bake and share with your friends and family.

Here is a list of clubs that our school could really use! Lets us know what you think about adding clubs to our school or even give us some of your own ideas! We would be happy to hear from you!
