When the solid chocolate bunnies come out, you know Easter is just around the corner, but that’s not truly what Easter is really about! Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. For Americans not affiliated with a religion, Easter may symbolize spring, hope, and renewal. Easter day moves around on the calendar each year, but it always falls on a Sunday. It can occur anytime between March 22nd and April 25th. Many Christians worldwide celebrate Easter with special church services, music, candlelight, etc. Many other people may celebrate Easter in their own ways such as egg hunts, dying eggs, making Easter baskets with little gifts, and waiting for the arrival of the Easter bunny. Easter is a wonderful time to celebrate with family and create lifelong memories. Cherished traditions are what keep families together. Here are some fun Easter traditions for your family to start and carry on for years.
