The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, an NFL team, just recently announced this Wednesday that their head coach, Bruce Arians, had just retired. Arians doesn’t consider himself retired instead he says he has just stepped down as he is taking up a new position in the front office. Arians will still help the team with what he succeeded at most in which he played a key role in drafting star prospects because he will be the senior football consultant.

During his three-year coaching stay at Tampa Bay, Arians posted an impressive 31-18 (.633). This is the highest win percentage in Buccaneer history. He also led the team to a super bowl which they won following the 2020 season.

Former defensive coordinator, Todd Bowles, will now take over as head coach for the currently successful Tampa Bay team. This Wednesday, Bowles signed a five-year contract cementing him as the new current head coach.

With Arians stepping down, he will join many other coaches this year by either resigning or being fired for a new coach. Losing Arians will certainly hurt their gameplan for the upcoming season
