There were a few interesting games this week in college football! Texas vs Alabama was mostly a game of punting. There were a few exciting plays but surprisingly Texas was able to take the lead for a while. Alabama and Texas combined for 11 total punts and 481 total punt yards in the game as Alabama punted 6 times and Texas punted 5. Alabama seemed to struggle a lot as texas had more combined passing yards but with two quarterbacks Hudson Card and Quinn Ewers and Alabama kept their superstar quarterback Bryce Young in the whole game as he threw for 213 yards with 1 touchdown and 38 rushing yards. Jahmyr Gibbs received 74 yards and 1 touchdown and rushed for 22 yards. Texas quarterback Hudson Card threw for 158 yards and Quinn Ewers threw for 134 yards. Their running back Bijan Robinson rushed for 57 yards and one touch and received for 73 yards. The Final score was 20-19 as Alabama was able to win.

Another interesting game was Pitt vs Tennessee. Tennessee was very good as their quarterback Henson Hooker threw for 325 yards and 2 touchdowns and Hooker also rushed for 27 yards. Their running back Jabari Small rushed for 17 yards and 2 touchdowns and their other running back Jaylen Wright rushed for 47 yards. Pitt wasn’t too bad but they played two quarterbacks. Kedon Slovis threw for 195 yards and 1 touchdown and he also threw one interception to Tre Flowers. Nick Patti threw for 79 yards and 1 touchdown. Both quarterbacks are injured with Slovis having a concussion and Patti having a high ankle sprain. Their running back Israel Abanikanda rushed for 154 yards and 1 touchdown. Both teams combined for 8 punts for 324 yards. They went into overtime and Hooker from Tennessee threw a touchdown pass to Cedric Tillman for 28 yards. Pitt failed to get a touchdown so Tennessee won 34-27.

The last game to talk about is BYU vs Baylor. Baylor was good. Blake Shapen threw for 137 yards and threw one touchdown. Running back Qualan Jones rushed for 67 yards and rushed for two touchdowns. Craig Williams had 3 punt returns for 65 yards. The kicker Isaiah Hankins missed one field goal. BYU played two quarterbacks, Jaren Hall threw for 261 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for 28 yards. Receiver Chase Roberts threw for 22 yards and got a touchdown. Roberts received for 122 yards and one touchdown the game went through two overtimes and BYU ended up with the win after a touchdown. Here are all the other scores:
