NFL Updates:

3 games were played on Thanksgiving, Bills vs Lions, Giants vs Cowboys, and Patriots vs Vikings. The Bills, Cowboys, and Vikings all won as they were favored to win. The Bills beat the Lions 28-25. The Cowboys beat the Giants 20-28, and the Vikings beat the Patriots 26-33. 

 On Sunday, the Dolphins played the Texans and it was expected the Dolphins would crush the Texans and they did 15-30. Tua Tagovailoa threw for 299 yards and one touchdown. Tyreek Hill has been great for the Dolphins and he caught the ball for 85 yards. Jeffrey Wilson rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown. The Texans benched quarterback Davis Mills this week so Kyle Allen played and threw for 215 yards and one touchdown. He threw two interceptions in the loss. 

In the AFC Divisional rematch from the playoffs last year the Bengals beat the Titans 20-16. Joe Burrow threw for 270 yards and one touchdown. Burrow rushed for 32 yards. Joe Mixon was out this week so Samaje Perine rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown.  Ryan Tannehill threw for 291 yards. Derrick Henry only rushed for 38 yards.  

The Broncos and Panthers have both been struggling and even with the addition of Russell Wilson this year for the Broncos they still can not be a good team. The Panthers are having quarterback issues with Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold playing Sunday and he is expected to stay as the starting quarterback for the Panthers. The Panthers beat the Broncos 10-23. Sam Darnold threw for 164 yards and one touchdown. Darnold also rushed for a touchdown. D’Onta Foreman rushed for 113 yards. Russell Wilson threw for 142 yards and one touchdown. Latavius Murray rushed for 92 yards.

 The Bears played the Jets but the Bear’s starting quarterback Justin Fields was dealing with a dislocated shoulder injury from the previous week so he did not play. The Jets have been having quarterback issues with Zach Wilson so the starting quarterback was Mike White and he played an impressive game throwing for 315 yards and three touchdowns. The Bears quarterback Trevor Siemian threw for 179 yards and one touchdown. David Montgomery rushed for 79 yards. The Jets won 10-31. 

The Falcons played the Commanders on Sunday and the Commanders beat them 13-19. Taylor Heinicke threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Brian Robinson rushed for 105 yards. Antonio Gibson rushed for 32 yards. Marcus Mariota threw for 174 yards and one touchdown. He threw one interception. He rushed for 49 yards. Tyler Allgeier rushed for 54 yards. 

The Buccaneers and Browns played and both teams haven’t been very good, the Buccaneers need to keep winning if they want to make the playoffs but the Browns beat them 17-23 in OT. Tom Brady threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns. Rachaad White rushed for 64 yards. Jacoby Brissett threw for 210 yards and one touchdown. He threw one interception. He rushed for 27 yards. Nick Chubb rushed for 116 yards and one touchdown.

The biggest upset of the week was the Ravens vs Jaguars. The Ravens were favored to win but the Jaguars won 27-28. Lamar Jackson threw for 254 yards and one touchdown. He was the team’s leading rusher with 89 yards. Gus Edwards rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown. Trevor Lawrence threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns. JaMycal Hasty rushed for 28 yards. 

The Raiders and Seahawks played each other, a game that the Seahawks were expected to win because they haven’t been too bad this year. But the game went into OT and the Raiders won 40-34. Derek Carr threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns. He threw two interceptions in the win. Josh Jacobs rushed for 229 yards and two touchdowns. Geno Smith threw for 328 yards and two touchdowns. He threw one interception in the loss. Kenneth Walker rushed for 26 yards and two touchdowns. 

The Chargers and Cardinals played and the game was very close but late in the 4th quarter the Chargers had a choice to go for two points to end the game and it was successful and the Chargers won 25-24. Justin Herbert threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns. He was the team’s leading rusher with 38 yards. Austin Ekeler rushed for 20 yards. Kyler Murray threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown. 

The Saints played the 49ers and it was expected the 49ers would win but they only won 0-13. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 222 yards and one touchdown. Elijah Mitchell and Christian McCaffrey combined for 67 yards. Andy Dalton threw for 204 yards. He was the team’s leading rusher with 21 yards. Alvin Kamara rushed for 13 yards. 

The struggling Packers played the Eagles this week and the game was close. The Eagles won 33-40. Aaron Rodgers was injured in the loss. Jalen Hurts threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns. He was the team’s leading rusher with an incredible 157 yards rushing. Miles Sanders rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He threw two interceptions. Jordan Love came in as the backup for Rodgers and he only completed 6 passes for 113 yards and one touchdown. AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones rushed for a combined 107 yards and Dillon rushed for one touchdown. 

The Steelers played the Colts on Monday Night Football. This game was not expected to be a good game. The Steelers won 24-17. Kenny Pickett threw for 174 yards. He rushed for 32 yards. Benny Snell and Najee Harris rushed for a combined 97 yards with one touchdown each. Matt Ryan threw for 199 yards and one touchdown. He threw one interception in the loss. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown.
