We have all heard of self-care and that’s something that’s very important for a person’s mental health and even physical health. Today we are going to talk about how to have a whole week filled with self-care just for yourself.
Physically
- Shower every night or morning
- Brush your teeth twice a day
- Do a skincare routine
- Get enough sleep
- Drink water
- Exercise
- Clean
- Cook your favorite meal
- Spend time outside
- Get a massage
Mentally
- Let yourself cry when you need to
- Keep a journal and write in it each day
- Wake up each day and think of something positive you will do today
- Put your phone down and enjoy a day without it
- Do something you love
- Listen to your favorite songs
- Write down three nice things about yourself
- Do breathing exercises
- Go outside and get fresh air
- Give your mind some space
