We have all heard of self-care and that’s something that’s very important for a person’s mental health and even physical health. Today we are going to talk about how to have a whole week filled with self-care just for yourself. 

Physically 

  • Shower every night or morning 
  • Brush your teeth twice a day 
  • Do a skincare routine 
  • Get enough sleep
  • Drink water 
  • Exercise 
  • Clean 
  • Cook your favorite meal 
  • Spend time outside 
  • Get a massage 

Mentally 

  • Let yourself cry when you need to 
  • Keep a journal and write in it each day
  • Wake up each day and think of something positive you will do today
  • Put your phone down and enjoy a day without it
  • Do something you love
  • Listen to your favorite songs 
  • Write down three nice things about yourself 
  • Do breathing exercises
  • Go outside and get fresh air
  • Give your mind some space
