Cooking and finding new recipes are one of my favorite hobbies! Trying new things and figuring out how amazing they are is a good feeling. I see many recipes on many platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. As well as flipping through cookbooks I have around the house until I find something that looks worth trying. Below I have listed 5 recipes I have found that are definitely worth your time to try!

#1–Bell-Pepper Sandwich @lowcarbstateofmind on TikTok

Directions: Cut the bell pepper in half, spread your cream cheese, and avocado, and build the rest of your sandwich, you may use whatever you desire to make your sandwich

Ingredients: 

  • one bell pepper
  • cream cheese
  • bacon (recommended)
  • cheese (recommended)
  • turkey (recommended)
  • avocado

#2–Caprese sticks @heywrenbrown on TikTok

Directions: cut your string cheese, prosciutto, and egg roll wrappers in half, chop spinach, take one wrapper, and add your prosciutto, cheese, and spinach and roll it up close in the ends, air-fry at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. 

Ingredients:

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • prosciutto
  • mozzarella cheese sticks
  • spinach

#3–Crispy chicken burritos @heywrenbrown on TikTok

Directions: shred your chicken, add in your can of diced green chilies, onion, cream cheese, and mozzarella, mix all together, salt and pepper your mixture, put 1/4 cup of the mixture into your tortilla, roll up, air-fry or bale at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. 

Ingredients: 

  • Tyson rotisserie chicken breast strips
  • 1 can of diced green chilies
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 brick of cream cheese (softened)
  • shredded mozzarella cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • small tortillas

#4–Mediterranean chicken bowl @sammypur on TikTok

Directions: season and cook your chicken (garlic, salt, paprika, lemon pepper) in a cast iron skillet on medium-high for 5 minutes, flip, and place in the oven for 13 minutes at 400 degrees, (avocado oil recommended), chop your tomatoes and cucumbers and season with salt. Chop your chicken when cooked and cook your rice. To assemble plate half of the rice in the package (recommended if you use the brand listed) and half of your chicken. Plate some cucumbers and tomatoes and sprinkle the plate with parsley and lemon juice. Lastly, drizzle your tzatziki sauce all over the plate.

  • two chicken breasts
  • tomatoes
  • cucumbers
  • salt
  • TEEVEE Thai jasmine rice
  • parsley
  • lemon juice
  • tzatziki sauce

#5–Burger bowl @syl.eats on TikTok

Directions: mix your ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, pickles (diced), garlic, onion powder, and pickle juice to make your sauce. Season and cook your ground beef (Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. To assemble your bowl place some lettuce, ground beef, tomatoes, pickles, cheese, and sauce. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • pickles

  • onion powder
  • pickles juice
  • lean ground beef
  • seasoning
  • lettuce
  • tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
