Although the Seniors’ time here at New Castle is coming to an end, there is still a big list of events underway. The first starts tonight, at Taggart Stadium starting at 7:00 pm and ending at 10:00 pm. The high school is hosting a senior field night for their students that will have a dunk tank, a DJ, as well as a kickball tournament where the students will play against the staff.

On Friday, May 26th, starting at 8:00 am, there will be the annual senior recognition where seniors will be recognized for the scholarships they have earned throughout their senior year.

On June 2, the seniors will partake in a “graduation walk”, going throughout New Castle’s schools in their caps and gowns, walking the halls that they once walked one final time. These schools will include New Castle’s Senior Highschool, George Washington, and its Lockely school located on the east side of the city.

Along with the June 8th Baccalaureate being held at Saint Vitus Church, the senior’s graduation and the school’s official final day will be on June 9th at Taggart Stadium.
