NFL Week 4 Highlights

Week 4 of the NFL just finished and there were some bad games. The Broncos and Bears game was expected to be a terrible game. At the end of the 3rd quarter, it was the Bears leading 28-14. But the Broncos came back to win 31-28. Russell Wilson threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns. Jaleel McLaughlin rushed for 72 yards. Justin Fields threw for 335 yards and four touchdowns and threw one interception. He rushed for 25 yards. Khalil Herbert rushed for 103 yards. 

The Ravens dominated the Browns in Cleveland. Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson did not play due to a shoulder injury so the Rookie, Dorian Thompson-Robinson played the game. The Browns only scored by kicking a field goal in the first quarter and never scored after that. The Ravens won 28-3. Lamar Jackson threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns both caught by Mark Andrews. He rushed for 27 yards and rushed for two touchdowns. This is the first time in his career that he has had more than one rushing touchdown and more than one passing touchdown in one game. Edwards, Hill, and Gordon combined for 102 rushing yards. DTR threw for 121 yards and three costly interceptions. New Castle native Geno Stone intercepted a pass thrown by DTR. He rushed for 24 yards. Pierre Strong Jr. and Jerome Ford rushed for a combined 75 yards. 

The Commanders and Eagles played on Sunday. Last year the Commanders gave the Eagles their first loss starting 8-0 on the season. The Commanders almost won this game but the Eagles won in overtime 31-34. Sam Howell threw for 290 yards and one touchdown. He rushed for 40 yards. Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 45 yards and one touchdown. Jalen Hurts threw for 319 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 34 yards. D’Andre Swift rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown. 

The Texans dominated the Steelers on Sunday. Kenny Pickett left the game with a knee injury in the third quarter. His status for next week against the Ravens is uncertain. He threw for 114 yards and threw one interception. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren rushed for a combined 100 yards. CJ Stroud threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 16 yards. Dameon Pierce and Devin Singletary rushed for a combined 106 yards. 

The Chiefs and Jets played on Sunday night with Taylor Swift in attendance for the second game in a row. A late fumble by Zach Wilson gave the Chiefs the win as they beat the Jets 23-20. Patrick Mahomes threw for 203 yards and one touchdown. Mahomes threw two rare interceptions. He rushed for 51 yards. Isaiah Pacheco rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown. Zach Wilson threw for 245 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 14 yards. Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook rushed for a combined 72 yards.
