Thinking about taking Spanish III, IV, or V in your future here at New Castle?

New Castle students taking Spanish III, IV, and V, and Mrs. Vournous had an opportunity to visit Lockley Elementary and teach second graders their colors and numbers in Spanish on October, 19th 2023. The event was such a great event for our classes. We had such a fun time teaching the younger kids and helping them learn some basic Spanish terms.

Here are some comments from the classes, on how the experience went:

Spanish III 

I think working with the second graders went great and would love to go back to teach again. We printed out worksheets and activities for them and each had 30 minutes. They loved what we had and our visitation.

 Spanish IV

This was fun! The kids behaved great and everything went smoothly. This inspired me and my classmates to be a future teacher. We loved working on hand and being able to help them throughout.

Spanish V

Everybody had a great time and visiting Lockley brought back so many memories! We hope to revisit and have an opportunity to teach them again. I hope this inspired the little ones to learn more Spanish! It certainly inspired us!
