What is the Talent Search Program?

The talent search program is a program where students can become familiar with a college setting, college experiences, and life on campus to help them determine what they want to do after graduation.

How does the Talent Search Program help students? 

The program offers guidance for students who want to continue their education after high school. This includes trips to colleges in the surrounding areas, free SAT testing, and scholarships that the program offers.

Who runs the Talent Search Program? 

Nicole Summers has been running the talent search program for 2 years at New Castle. Her room is next to the nurse’s office. With a board and a room labeled Penn State Talent Search.

When am I able to join Talent Search?

You are able to join the talent search the moment you reach 6th grade. Once you are in the program you are then added to your grade-specific Google Classroom where updates will be made throughout the year. As you get closer to graduation more updates will occur for you.
