    Healthy Morning Habits to Try

    Are you a morning person? Not many people are. However, whether you’re a morning person or not, creating a routine promotes wellness. Creating a morning routine helps stay productive and encourages efficiency. I’ve put together steps for a good morning routine. Check them out. Let us know your morning routines. 

    1. Establish a consistent sleep routine by getting rest and getting to bed early
    2. Wake up early in the morning, on your first alarm sound. 
    3. Start the day with a glass of water to hydrate your body.
    4. Stretch or do some light exercise to get your blood flowing.
    5. Have a nutritious breakfast with protein, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
    6. Take a few moments for mindfulness and meditation.
    7. Plan your day and prioritize tasks to stay organized and reduce stress.
    8. Avoid checking your phone or emails right away to maintain a calm mind.
    9. Get some natural sunlight or bright light exposure to boost your mood.
    10. Practice good hygiene, such as brushing your teeth and washing your face.
    11. Take a few deep breaths and express gratitude for the day ahead.
