Sophomore’s Favorite Teachers

Sophomores+Favorite+Teachers

I’ve decided to interview some of my Sophomore classmates about their favorite teachers this school year 2023-2024. It would be interesting to see which teacher is most favored and three reasons why. Check out my classmate’s responses below! 

JUDAH BOYD: “Mr. Lee, I think he’s funny, he cares a lot about his students, and he’s confident with himself and his work.”
KENISHA KILPATRICK: “Mr. Quimby, his work is easy, he’s humorous, and he’s bald.”
SHELBY NORRIS: “Mr. Stefano, I’ve had him as a teacher before, he’s funny, and he cares about his students.”
GIANNA KNERAM: “Mr. Shaftic, he makes history relatable, he’s easy to talk to, he’s compassionate with his students.”
BROOKLYN RASCON: “Mrs. Nogay, she’s very helpful, good with directions, she’s friendly.”
JAY PROWELL: “Mrs. Nogay, she’s nice, dedicated to her job, and doesn’t show favoritism.”
ZIONNAH HARPER: “Mrs. Hogsett, she gives bonus, she’s very open to all sorts of conversation, she’s determined for her students.”
ANIYAH TODD: “Mrs. Bauder, It’s easy to be open with her, her classroom is a safe place, and she keeps good relationships with her students.”
KASANDRA RICE: “Mrs. Emmry, she’s nice, she makes it easy for students of all learning styles to pass her class, and she makes her work easy to learn.”
ALIYAH WILLIAMS: “Mr. Mancino, he’s funny, he doesn’t give lots of assignments, he engages with his students.”
TEREA WRIGHT: “Mrs. Joseph, she rarely misses school, she re-explains her work if you don’t understand, and she talks to her students.”
MARK VITALE: “Mrs. Genereo, she’s sassy, she makes good jokes, she doesn’t give too much work.”
TENAYA BOOKER: “Mrs. Hogsett, she makes learning easy, she’s funny, she’s not afraid to fail.”
ANDREAS GRAY: “Mr. Mancino, he takes us outside when it’s warm, he’s not afraid to be heard, and he makes funny dad jokes.”
KAITLYN HOUK: “Mrs. Jimm, she’s very nice, she wants the best for all her students, and she’s very calm.”
LUCAS WORK: “Mrs. Hogsett, she’s hilarious, she lets me sit by myself, she reads to us.”
KALEB WHEELER: “Mr. Rigby, he’s chill, he’s patient, plus he doesn’t yell when he’s mad.”
ARYONNA THREATS: “Mrs. Emmry, her work isn’t stressful, her class feels like a video game, and she’s very empathetic.”
JUSTIS SCOTT: “Mrs. Wiseman, she keeps it real, she’s funny, she cares a lot about her students.”
JALEN JONES: “Mrs. Harlem, she’s confident, her work is interesting, she’s friendly.”

Based on the answers of 20 sophomore students I interviewed.  the most favorable teacher is, Mrs. Hogsett. Having 3/20 votes she came in “first” while Mrs. Nogay, Mrs. Emery, and Mr. Mancino all tied for second both having 2/20 votes each.
