Every four years, the Olympics never fail to show the amazing talents that people have been blessed to possess in this world. Day in and day out, unbelievable amounts of talents are proven through the athleticism and amazing work ethic of the participants belonging to their respective teams. This event this year took place from February 9th until February 25th, and every day there was no shortage of talent production that blew the minds of many people from around the world! Below are the medal counts for the top five countries in this year’s Winter Olympics

 

Norway: 14 Gold, 14 Silver, 11 Bronze, and a combined total of 39 medals.

Germany: 14 Gold, 10 Silver, 7 Bronze, and a combined total of 31 medals.

Canada: 11 Gold, 8 Silver, 10 Bronze, and a combined total of 29 medals.

United States of America: 9 Gold, 8 Silver, 6 Bronze, and a combined total of 23 medals.

Netherlands: 8 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Bronze, and a combined total of 20 medals.

 

As stated above, Norway led the way winning the most medals at this year’s competition, tallying a total of 39 medals. Next came Germany with a total of 31 medals awarded to them. Then, in a close third place race, Canada followed with a total of 29 medals, and 11 of them were gold medals. Finally, the next two countries finished in a close race, the United States came out of the competition with 23 medal, and the Netherlands finished with 20 medals.
